The Glam GH fashion team still schemed and kept its busy work clock’s hands ticking after serving a multinational audience of fashion enthusiasts with Glam Afrique at Accra’s exquisite grey Octagon in March 2026 and the busy team is now boldly making a hot Aflao stop on October 11 with Volta Fashion Week to yet again, as their hallmark is most popular for, serve another multinational audience with an epic display of super high runway stupor that is most likely to deeply engrave in the audience’s memory an urge of nostalgia whenever next they hear of any pending fashion event. Glam GH really does it glamorous, exquisite and more and it serves it edgy when it gets to pulling up a fashion event. It said Glam Afrique too will run annual, just as Volta Fashion Week, but Glam Afrique is strictly to Accra ams Volta Fashion Week is to Aflao or anywhere else in the Volta Region, Ghana.
Just like the team did for Volta Fashion Week in 2025, 2026’s Volta Fashion Week’s designer log is also laced up rich with top bespoke home fashion designers and flawless runway-pleasing foreign fashion designers drawn from Guinea, Gabon, Ivory Coast, Mozambique, Gambia, Nigeria, Togo, Benin, Cameroon, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho and other African countries. The runway model log, just like the designers’ log, is also locked with seasoned home and foreign runway models that hit the runway in pleasing elegance, great confidence and grand style.
Here, a part publicised list of fashion designing labels that will showcase their collection at Volta Fashion Week: House of Micky [Ghana], Gota GH [Ghana], Unik Fashion [Ghana], Jonnah’s Vintage [Ghana], Richye Couture [Ghana]. Cheef-A Couture [Ivory Coast], Isabelle Tengue [Togo], Wena Sami [Nigeria], Kou-Mi Couture [Guinea], Cyrlie Fashion [Gabon], Traore Couture [Guinea], Art Couture Et Creation [Guinea], Malima Creation [Guinea], Daska Fashion [Ivory Coast]. The first generation of Glam GH’s in-house models in Aflao are graduating from basic status to intermediary status, and the team is using the Volta Fashion Week’s goodwill to introduce the graduants to the real world by making an interlude for their graduation as a segment fixed into Volta Fashion Week’s main programme on 11th October.
There will be musical interludes too.
Volta Fashion Week still doubles off as an award scheme that honours fashion professionals across Africa’s fashion industry, so as its annual usual, the event will be severed with intermittent breaks in which fashion professionals will be honoured. Each award category’s win’s grand score is aggregated from public vote counts, brand activity merits and remarks from a team of judges that are delegated to man the Volta Fashion Week’s award affairs.
Coming off at a repeat Aflao venue, TI Tavern, it is publicly inferred that Glam GH will serve a super memorable runaway stupor, a sure upgrade of the beautiful memory it served the audience last year.
