The 2026 Ghana Kid-Teen Fashion festival, which was held inside Micado in Labone, Accra, on 27th June, came off remarkably impressive by satisfying audience expectations and deepening stakeholders’ already-beaming trust that Ghana’s kid models can truly carry the nation’s high fashion trends very well into the future.

Drawing well-trained professional kid models from Exopa and Versatile Modeling Agency and blending them with runway-savvy freelance kid models that have already walked majestically well for multiple seasoned and emerging designers before at exquisite fashion events, it was an obvious sure bet that this year’s Ghana Kid Festival was definitely going to be worth every curious spectator’s commanding attendance. The kids, as expected of them by their coaches to hit the runway with zero nervousness and fully tamed stage fright, exhibited due confidence and super stellar showmanship walk after walk, just as bold adult models would.

It wouldn’t just be a night of strict fashion showcases, but one that also educated the audience about the need to embrace autistic children and continually offer them unconditional domestic and social integration through the understanding of their condition and them being regarded as children with special needs and thus be given special attention. The resource doctor that lectured on autism, prior to the close of the event, ending his lecture with autism management practices.

In all, ten designers graced the runway, each giving the audience something unique to please their eyes.

Ending with a short night experience, most of the spectators wish the event had gone on for more hours into the midnight. It was inferred from their faces and reactions that they were leaving Micado with a nostalgia and they hope the organizers practically keep the event truly annual — a cry for year-by-year event consistency.
