Sidney Washington Daniels, the founder of Ghana Western Achievement & Celebrity Awards (GWACA), has announced the date for the highly anticipated 2025 fourth edition of the awards event.
The 2025 fourth edition of the Ghana Western And Celebrity Awards event is scheduled to take place on 25th May, 2025. It will be held at Takoradi Technical University.
The awards scheme’s fourth edition will see the introduction of three new categories: the twins of these are Ghana Western Most Beautiful and Ghana Western Most Handsome awards, which are aimed at celebrating the beauty and elegance of individuals from the Western Region.
In a move to further elevate the prestige of the Ghana Western Achievement and Celebrity Awards scheme, Sidney Washington Daniels has also unveiled a new category, which is the third one dubbed as Ghana Western Millionaires of the year. With this category, GWACA will crown five western region millionaires that have made significant contributions towards the development of the region in the year under review.
“The honors to be conferred on our top five millionaires are not in a hierarchical order, so no honoree reigns above the other, we are just honouring them to motivate them and other western region millionaires to put the region in their heart and get them contributing towards the progress of our beloved region” Sidney Washington Daniels explained.
The Ghana Western Achievement & Celebrity Awards, which has successfully held three editions, has postponed its fourth edition from December 2024 to May 25, 2025, due to the 2024 national elections in Ghana. The decision was made to avoid any conflict with foreseen massive political activities in December 2024, as the advertising of the award event equally needs massive publicity attention to command a high turnout.
The 2025 edition of GWACA is expected to attract high-profile UK fashion models, investors, and personalities from various industries, adding an international flair to the event.
Sidney Washington Daniels, the UK-based Ghanaian-British criminologist cum private detective, media mogul, and the man behind the moniker “UK Suge Knight,” continues to make strides in the people recognition business by awarding those that have made significant progress in their various fields of work. Through his LondonHills Production media label, he has executive-produced numerous movies and funded several music projects made by characters and artistes in the Western Region.
As preparations for the 2025 edition of the GWACA are underway, the Western Region can look forward to an event that not only honors achievement and excellence but also brings together the region’s most influential and successful individuals at the same place in one night.
