International Orientation Programme 2026: Building a Bridge Between Africa and Brazil Through Professional Excellence
By Ambassador Prince
Kojo-Hilton, Head Tutor, International Orientation Programme 2026
In a rapidly changing world where international collaboration and professional development are more important than ever, the International Orientation Programme (IOP) 2026 stands as a landmark initiative designed to empower African professionals through education, cultural exchange, and practical industry experience in Brazil.
The programme is a three-month international capacity-building initiative taking place in Brasília and São Paulo, Brazil, from 20 August to 30 November 2026, bringing together up to 150 talented participants from across Africa.
Organised by UMIDEX LTDA in partnership with Midas Music São Paulo Brasil, OSCIP Arte e Cultura Brazil, Global Art Connect, Goodies Music Entertainment Production, Ghana Public Cultural Art & Culture, AgriWorld, and other institutional partners, the programme reflects a shared commitment to strengthening cultural, educational, and professional relations between Brazil and Africa.
As Head Tutor and Lead International Facilitator, I am honoured to guide participants through a transformative learning journey that combines academic instruction with real-world practical experience. Our objective is not only to develop technical skills but also to inspire creative leadership, innovation, and sustainable development among Africa’s emerging professionals.
The curriculum offers intensive professional training in Arts, Film Production, Production Design, Bio-Sustainable Housing, Cultural Entrepreneurship, Digital Leadership, and Professional Ethics, supported by workshops, field visits, mentorship, and cultural immersion activities. Participants will receive approximately three hours of structured training each day, alongside project-based learning and networking opportunities with Brazilian and international professionals.
Brazil provides an exceptional environment for this initiative. As the country with the largest African diaspora outside the African continent, it offers participants a unique opportunity to reconnect with shared cultural heritage while exploring one of the world’s most dynamic creative economies. From the diplomatic institutions of Brasília to the vibrant cultural and economic landscape of São Paulo, participants will gain invaluable exposure to international best practices and cross-cultural collaboration.
Beyond technical training, the International Orientation Programme promotes global citizenship, legal awareness, and sustainable innovation. Participants will receive guidance on Brazilian immigration regulations, professional ethics, and cultural integration while developing projects that can create lasting social and economic impact within their home countries.
Successful participants will graduate with an International Certificate of Completion, professional mentorship, access to an expanding international network, and opportunities for future collaboration with partner institutions throughout Brazil, Africa, and beyond. The programme is expected to produce over 50 innovative projects while strengthening long-term professional ties between both regions.
The International Orientation Programme 2026 is more than a training programme—it is a platform for leadership, innovation, and cultural diplomacy. It represents a shared vision where education, creativity, and international cooperation become powerful tools for sustainable development and mutual prosperity.
I warmly invite talented professionals, artists, filmmakers, innovators, and aspiring leaders from across Africa to take advantage of this exceptional opportunity. Together, we will build lasting partnerships, exchange knowledge, and shape a future defined by creativity, excellence, and international cooperation.
Applications are now open for the International Orientation Programme 2026. Prospective participants are encouraged to submit their applications during the registration period and prepare to embark on a life-changing professional and cultural experience in Brazil.
