Last night at the Ghana Western Achievement and Celebrities Award held at Raybow Hotel in Takoradi, El Manuel took the Gospel Artiste of the Year plaque home.
The Ghana Western Achievement & Celebrities Award scheme is a excellence honouring scheme that confers awards on excelling personalities and institutions within the western region of Ghana. El Manuel was recognized by the GWACA scheme for his excellent gospel artistry and his consistency in the music business.
As one of the powerful gospel artistes in the western region, El Manuel (known by the government as Emmanuel Arkoh) has prior to his GWACA win won other awards for his good music and indisputable commitment to winning souls for Christ through musical ministration at churches and at events.
Down in El Manuel’s award win history, he has five enviable awards: Gospel Artiste of the Year [2018 Western Gospel Awards, Best Urban Gospel Song of the Year [2022 Western Music Awards, Most outstanding Gospel Artiste of the year [2022 Western Gospel Awards, Gospel Artiste of the Year [2023 Ahanta Music Awards, and Gospel Artiste of the Year [2023 Ghana Western Achievement & Celebrities Award].
Also In 2023, El Manuel won the Best Humanitarian Organization award from Fontomfrom Amandze Awards. He earned this prestigious award through the humanitarian deeds he did with his charity foundation called “YiBiMa”. “YiBiMa” translates in English as “give something to support” and that literally is a soliciting slogan or motto that calls out for charity for the needy.
El Manuel is not only an artiste, he triples as a charity foundation CEO and a real estate agent.
El Manuel [Emmanuel Arkoh], released his first album dubbed “Meda Woase” on September 4th 2016. He later released his follow-up “Oguamba Mogya” in 2018.
“Falling Down”, which features Navah Music followed and on March 20 2021, he released Yesu Din featuring J-Josh.
El Manuel has been getting booked for performances at churches and at events to heal and empower people since his first album and he seems not to be taking a break from making public appearance to minister the gospel to his fellow Christians and non-Christians alike.
