Ruki, the Ghanaian female reggae and dancehall artiste joins a musical set of select few foreign nationals and a local lineup of skillful favourites on stage in Nigeria to sell out the Agogo Arts and Nature Festival to an expected wave-and-rave audience.
The artiste performance list for the Agogo Arts and Nature Festival, Nigeria, is inked up with foreign artistes from America, Ghana and Togo.
With a diversified theatrical menu, the festival is serving live music, a film show, drawing and painting competition, art exhibition, eco fashion and more. There will be a long spread of local festive food vendors on the side to keep the audience fed amidst entertainment.
Like all the other live band performers, Ruki will also be playing with the Aweto Band. Prior to Ruki’s arrival in Nigeria, the band men are heavily rehearsing with Ruki’s playlist. She arrives in Nigeria with her manager, Ras Bomba (her guitarist) and Nana Akua her back vocalist.
Speaking on Ruki’s fierce readiness, Martin “Jah Martin” Quarpong, her manager, confidently pulled up an utter assurance that Ruki is fully euipped to deliver a memorable set that will thrill the Novel Lounge audience.
Over the years back home, Ruki has rocked several reggae and dancehall concerts with Ghana’s main finest live bands that have a masterful concert skills set of the duo-genre. With this comes the honing of craft, thus Ruki has gained mastery of live band performance and she is indeed fully equipped to blow up the Novel Lounge.
In 2019, Ruki made her foreign stage debut in Ivory Coast. Nigeria marks her second foreign concert appearance.
About international feature mentions, Ruki has joints with Vaga Vybz of Uganda and Ninja Kyat of Nigeria. like: Ruki sings in standard English, Hausa, Twi and Ga.
The Agogo Arts and Nature Festival comes off 27th September, 2024, inside the Novel Lounge which is situated in Marina, a landmark in Badagry, Nigeria.
