26th April marks the much-anticipated return of Ruki on stage for an epic reggae concert whose tall bill is studded with colleague reggae artistes that are well-noted for their fiery stage performance of conscious, culture and love vibes.

The concert dubbed “Ruki & Friends” makes the self-explanation that Ruki, ” The Queen of Hausa Reggae and Dancehall” is the sole highlight artiste of the concert and it’s her very record label One Family Yard that’s putting up the friendly concert. “Ruki & Friends” isn’t the label’s first star-stud friendly, but just another in its concert series, as the label has organized several big stage concerts in the past at multiple venues in Accra for a stretch of over five years.

The Ruki brand is also doubly credited with sanitation advocacy and ambassadorial connections, not just credited with music release prolificity, relatively high concert counts and the most road-active Ghanaian female reggae artiste accolade for quite a significant run of years —dating right back from 2015 to recent checks.

Officialy on the tall “Ruki & Friends” performance bill are: Fyah Lioness, Sancious, Lyoni Jones, Osagyefo, Ras Bomba, Ras Jimmy Opeteqwei, Kindred, Bobolati, Judah King, Papa Wasseh, Double D, Xylo Krakette Souljah, King Majah, Gariba, Roy General, Nana Ntow Bombadier, Six Stars, King Jaywan, Asa Afrika, Malika GH, Jeneral Kokato, Ever Blazing, Wan Row, and Real Vybz.

The official selectors that will be rotating on the concert are DJ Nature Won, DJ Lazzy, Bounty and Xylo. The MC’s for the night are Mafia Ras and Jah Love.

King Taurus Sound of UK graces the concert as a special guest of honour to offer the audience an exotic gig of juggling bashment thats hinted with an intermittent dubplate splash.

“Ruki & Friends” comes off 26th April at Rising Phoenix (popularly called Akuma Village) which is situated behind the Baiden Powell chapel building off the Accra highway street on the Jamestown main motorway stretch.

“Ruki & Friends” is brought to you by One Family Yard andĀ Africa Unity Sound.
