WRITTEN BY: Regula Rebel
Tarkwa’s young rap gun, Kweku Static, in reaction to pressures of street demand to drop a video for “Regret”, has promised to move his crew, vixens and props to Taadi to shoot the track before mid October and release it on a soon date to maximize peer and fan admiration for the track.
Earlier before the street and peer pressure for the “Regret”, visuals, the track was sitting in Kweku’s song bank awaiting a massive promo plan, but it got into the hands a few closed friends and they leaked it to the street, but ” Regret”‘s lyrics being ones that resonates with juvenile stubbornness and deviance to parental guidance, has worm the hearts of many a youth that can relate to the track and are then eager to the lyrics dramatised with visuals that will further appeal to their reparability.
“Regret” is a wittingly woven poetic piece that is laced up with confessions of both intently and accidentally committed errors, the admission of one’s flaws and one’s readiness to embrace whatever consequences one’s ills actions are attracting. The song boldly tells the true life stories of adventurous youths and it sits fit in the lifestyle moulds of most youths that are bent on street life and are in full charge of their daily decisions.
In weaving “Regret”, Horror Way laid the hook. Kweku Static laid the rap bars. The joint was produced by in SoundCard GH, Tarkwa.
“Regret” will be shot in Taadi by the InfiniTron Media Group videography team.
