Sidney Washington Daniels, founder and CEO o Ghana Western Achievement & Celebrities Award, this late January appointed Genevieve Effikorah as the award scheme’s Creative Director of Ceremonial Pageantry four months ahead of the scheme’s fourth edition.
Genevieve took office immediately and began her role-play without delay, as the diversified preparations towards the award scheme’s fourth edition was already underway prior to her appointment and time was of the essence as May is not that far. She is the first to ever take that office at GWACA [Ghana Western Achievement & Celebrities Award].
Inner checks done at source, it was communicated that Genevieve Effikorah merited the post due to her plausible success as an excellent trainer of models and her deeply trusted ability to conduct a professional pageantry for GWACA.
As part of her duties, as the general overseer of the scheme’s pageantry affairs, Genevieve is currently busy drilling and grooming the male and female models that would hit the runway at the awards night in May.
At the night of the awards, the pageantry panel of fashion and modeling experts will crown two winners out of the unisex model lot: Western Most Beautiful and Western Most Handsome. Eligibility for the separate crowns will be based on the merits of wit, wardrobe details, clever delivery of answers, runway skills and other professional qualities. Each winner goes home with an appreciable cash prize authorized by the scheme’s CEO, Sidney Washington Daniels.
At the awards night, enviable plaques and citations will be given to western region-based institutions and personalities that are performing excellently in their various fields of business operation and are thus worthy of official recognition to motivate their industry rivals to also embark on parallel excellences towards the greater good of the entire western region.
GWACA’s fourth edition comes off 25th May inside Takoradi Technical University’s auditorium.
Sidney Washington Daniels has promised the public a great event, saying ‘this edition comes off in a relatively grand style with a pleasant experience”, and he is making the event free to the general public.
