Glam GH, the organizer of Volta Fashion Week, doubles up its annual event count with Glam Afrique Fashion & Art Awards and it intends to stage its maiden edition in Accra this March.

Glam GH, as a trusted fashion event house, is famous for bridging African anglophone and francophone fashion designers and models by bringing them together on its fashion event stages and it prides itself high with a strong historic standing of being noted as one of Ghana’s top fashion event houses.

The Glam GH CEO’s prime reason for creating Glam Afrique Fashion & Art Awards [GAFAA], while maintaining the run of Volta Fashion Week, is to have a sister fashion event running on in Accra annually while he commits the staging of Volta Fashion Week strictly to the Volta region without ever bringing it back to Accra again or ever relocating it anywhere else in Ghana.

As expected by keen followers of Glam GH, Glam Afrique Fashion & Art Awards would be having on its stage a plethora of designers and models from several African countries. The Glam GH team has confirmed that it has received participation interest notices from fashion designers and models from Ghana, Gabon, Guinea Nigeria, Togo, Benin, Mozambique, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Rwanda and other African countries. There will also be participants from Panama, France and Finland.

At the night of Glam Afrique Fashion & Art Awards, the audience will be served traditional and high fashion designs of authentic African creativity and also be entertained with music of indigenous African rhythms. Aside the runway showcases, awards will be given to fashion professionals as a recognition for their plausible creative excellence, great brand impact and pleasing services.

It is publicly announced that Glam Afrique Fashion & Art Awards will be held in Accra between 27th and 29th March, 2026. The venue is yet to be communicated to the general public.
