Ruki made the selection of a 14-artiste strong from Ghana’s reggae side for a peacekeeping musical project as the country’s national political elections approach and there is a need for people of influence to instill calm against a possible volatility of political violence.

Ruki was selected by Kotmantse Musiki, the production house of the project.

Ever recognized for her consistent lyrical insistence on amicable co-existence among her country folks, Ruki earned the project appearance merits from the producers of this peacekeeping musical project dubbed “Stand For Peace”.

Stand For Peace is an initiative by Kwasi Jah Beloved, a Ghanaian US-based artiste who also self-featured on the project to give his bit of peace message.

Together with Ruki and Kwasi on the “Stand For Peace” are: Osagyefo, Kojo Kombolo, Kente, 7 Fireside, Fantiman Jouju, Kwame Partan, Aklerh, Valves, XLNC Fiifi Selah, Knii Lante, Alapta Wan, Topgyal Renner, Afrikani Roots.

“Stand For Peace” is available on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUxtUy5pAm4) and also in digital music stores.

Ruki holds the recognition for an icon of peace, justice and consciousness. She, over the years, has kept her lyrics clean.

Prior to her co-all-star appearance on “Stand For Peace”, Ruki released a single peace project dubbed “Stop The War” that spoke for the Palestinians. In “Stop The War”, Ruki sings disarmament with a great distant concern, pleading that war between Isreal and Palestine be stopped. As part of her Israeli-Palestinian peace promotion, Ruki met with the Palestinian ambassador of Ghana in Accra for a diplomatic dialogue which added an extra brand value to Ruki’s musical career profile.
