Blak Mexxiah’s “The Gods Are Back” EP Hits The Blogs Before This Month-End

On a lyrical journey to evoke the Sankofa revolution in Africans at home and abroad with his thought-provoking musical project title to urge a mass conscious revisit to the forgotten or rejected ancient ways of living, Blak Mexxiah decides to serve the world with an 8-track EP dubbed “The gods Are Back” before the year ends.

Given a subtly abstract cover art that evokes the triumph of a warrior and his horse trampling on a defeated rival warrior, it is inferred that Blak Mexxiah’s “The gods Are Back” is a dedication of good over evil, in the most obvious inference.

Explaining the concept and aim of the EP, Blak Mexxiah said: “the EP is dedicated to the African Diaspora and all Africans at home, having a concept that wakes us all up to rebuild our identity as a melanated people while we aim at establish Africa in great glory and embracing the deep truth that we’re the same ancient ones that have come back into the world through divine transitions”.

Blak Mexxiah added that he would like to see a firmly unified black people worldwide with one economic vision and universal sovereign rights.
